I believe that children communicate most effectively through play, and it’s a privilege to create a safe, supportive space where they can explore their emotions, develop confidence, and feel truly heard.
ABOUT ME
- Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner
Hello, and thank you for visiting.
I’m a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner with a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling. I have a background in education and a deep-rooted passion for supporting children’s emotional wellbeing.
I was born in the UK and spent my formative years in West Sussex, where I completed my Primary and Secondary education. I went on to earn a BA in Politics from the University of Essex, and worked for the Department of Health from 2009 to 2011. During this time, I realised my true passion lay in working directly with children and helping them thrive, which led me to retrain as a primary teacher. After six enriching years teaching in the UK, I embraced the opportunity to work internationally. I spent four wonderful years at Shrewsbury International School in Bangkok, and I am now in my third year at Bangkok Prep International School.
Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve seen the incredible power of play in helping children learn, grow, and express themselves and this inspired me to deepen my practice through therapeutic training.
In 2023 I completed my Level 2 Counselling Certificate.
In 2024 I became a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner through Play Therapy International.
In 2025 I gained my Level 3 Counselling Diploma.
In 2025 I gained my Diploma in Play Therapy through Play Therapy International.
I continue to train and build on this specialism working as a Teacher and Therapist at my current school.
